Microsoft Windows XP with UMAX Scanners

General Advice

1) If Windows XP drivers for your product are not available from our Driver Download section, use the latest UMAX Windows 2000 drivers or use the drivers supplied on the Microsoft Windows XP CD-ROM.
2) If you are upgrading your computer to Windows XP from an earlier version of Windows and already have UMAX drivers installed, it is advisable to uninstall the drivers then reinstall them when Windows XP is running.
3) If you already have an UMAX driver installed and want to install a later driver version, uninstall the previous driver before installing the new version.
4) If you see this message when installing UMAX drivers, select 'Continue Anyway'.

 

5) After some driver installations, you may find that the Microsoft driver has also been installed.
UMAX recommend using the UMAX supplied driver.

An XP certified driver is available.

PowerLook III, PowerLook 1100, PowerLook 2100XL & PowerLook 3000
These scanners can be used with Win XP by following the above advice.
However all PowerLook scanners should be running the latest Firmware version.
